Conversation with Nova Festival Survivor Gal Bukshpan

On October 7, 2023, Gal Bukshpan was attending the Nova Music Festival with friends when Hamas gunmen launched their deadly attack. He will share his harrowing experience and the split-second decisions that enabled him to survive the massacre. After Gal recounts his experience that day, he will discuss his decision to join a lawsuit in U.S. Federal court against Iran, Syria, and North Korea to hold them accountable for their role in the largest antisemitic attack since the Holocaust. At the end of Gal’s presentation, Aryeh Portnoy – who represents Gal and nearly 200 other victims of the October 7th attack in partnership with the ADL and Israeli Counsel – will provide a brief overview of the lawsuit and the victims’ path for justice and will be available for questions.
