“How wonderful it is that no one needs to wait a single moment to start to improve the world.” –Anne Frank
Congregation Beth El has an unwavering dedication to community service. Our members of all ages regularly support meaningful causes including reaching out to support the needy and disenfranchised in our community.
We have established relationships with Shepherd’s Table, A Wider Circle, and other charitable organizations in Montgomery County. We never forget that there’s life outside the shul, and we accept our responsibility for Tikkun Olam–repairing the world.
Every October, our congregation mobilizes its membership, and springs into action, by performing an amazing array of meaningful community service projects, as well as holding monumental collection efforts — all occurring on the very same day.
Collectively, we engage in a concerted effort to improve the quality of thousands of lives of those in need our community, Israel, and worldwide.
