Book Chat: Meet Author Esther Goldenberg

Join us in-person to meet author Esther Goldenberg in the Adas Israel Library on Sunday, November 3, at 10:30 am. Goldenberg will introduce The Scrolls of Deborah, her historical novel set during biblical times that has earned starred reviews. Told from the perspective of Deborah, Rebekah’s handmaid, Scrolls transports readers to the ancient world and offers new insights into familiar biblical tales and characters. Goldenberg, a long-time Jewish Educator, will share her enthusiasm for sacred texts and the spaces they leave open for midrash. Copies of the novel will be available for purchase (you do not need to read the book in advance).
