Congregant Jeremy Bash, former chief of staff of the CIA from 2009-2011 and chief of staff for the Secretary of Defense from 2011-2013, will moderate a discussion with Beth El congregants who are active or veteran servicemembers, honoring their service and discussing what it is like to be a Jewish servicemember. The panel will feature servicemembers who have served in different capacities throughout the years as we recognize Veteran’s Day and the Middah of Gratitude/Hakarat HaTov.
Panelists include Aaron Schilleci (active Army), Vince Ben Avram (Navy veteran), Matt Heuman (Army veteran), Jon Polon (Navy veteran), and Jonathan Epstein (Navy veteran).
