Join us after the Men’s Club breakfast on Sunday, February 23, to hear from two cutting edge Israeli companies in Maryland and how their technologies and innovative solutions are transforming their industry. Meet David Speer, executive director of the Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC), which is responsible for these collaborations, helping to grow Israeli companies in the fields of medical, biopharma, cyber, AI, and more.
Breakfast will be served at 9:30 am with the presentation beginning at 10:00 am. Co-sponsored by the Men’s Club and Am Yisrael Chai Committee.
David K. Speer has been the MIDC executive director since November 2021. David is responsible for outreach to Israeli companies about business opportunities in Maryland, organizing trade missions to Israel, and hosting Israeli business delegations the state. David had been the regional director of the Baltimore/Washington Region for the Americans for Ben Gurion University since 2012 and recently added the director of intelligence and analytics to his extensive portfolio.
The Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC) is a non-profit membership organization that promotes bi-lateral trade and economic development between the State of Maryland and Israel. It is a public-private partnership of the Maryland Department of Commerce, Ministry of Economy and Industry of Israel, and The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore. The MIDC was founded in 1992. There are over 40 Israeli companies in Maryland.
