Please join us at Ohr Kodesh for Selichot on Saturday, September 28.

Selichot are Jewish penitential prayers and poems that are recited during the High Holidays and other fast days. The word selichot is Hebrew for “forgiveness.” Selichot prayers focus on God’s mercy and ability to forgive sins, as well as God’s benevolence and compassion.

  • 9:15 pm: Pre-Selichot Learning with Rabbi Corey Helfand, Rabbi Greg Harris, and Rabbi Deborah Megdal
  • 10:15 pm: Refreshments
  • 10:45 pm: Selichot service with Cantor Hinda Eisen Labovitz and Hazzan Asa Fradkin
